Today the 56’s went to the lighthouse theatre to watch a play called Fame. The play had a little bit of swearing in it and when ever there was everyone would go “ooh” and “burn” and all that, but apart from that it was good. It was a play from Warrnambool Collage. The seats I got were spectacular, almost directly in  front of the stage, but not quite.

This week in writing I started writing my narrative about Batman. Although before we started we had to do a plan for our plan, confusing I know. Then we had to do a more detailed picture of our character.

On Saturday at my friends party me and my cosine were the first there because I went with his mum. the third to arrive was our other friend Angus and the funny thing is that my friend the one who’s party it was his name is Angus to, so we had two Angus’s at the party. the fourth to arrive was the party boy’s friend Riley I didn’t think much of him but he was pretty cool. once we all got there we played chaise. we also trapped Angus in the dog house and through apples at him through the windows. (he,he,he) It was fun. but then we got the bonfire. It took Angus’s dad about three tries to get it going, but after that it was HUGE! It was even to big to cook some marshmallows. I didn’t get much sleep, I didn’t get any sleep until like 5:00 IN THE MORNING.

On Saturday me and my little brother have to play football, I have a feeling  we’are going to loose because 1. it’s a tough team and 2. we have lost all our games. Also my older brother has to play football against Cobden at night, but I’m not going to watch him because I’m going to my friends sleep over party. In my opinion his sleep over party’s are the best. i think this one is going to be the best of all of them because we are going to have a bonfire.

On the 7th of May the whole school did cross country. Most kids did not get to see the other kids run until snack, especially the 5/6s because we had maths and writing. After snack my teacher wanted  us to stay out side and watch the other kids. I was watching the grade 4 boys because my younger brother was racing. Surprisingly my brother came 9th, I would have thought he would have came like 3rd or 4th and make it to inter school, but no. My race was at about ten past, quarter past one. I didn’t really care what I came as long as it wasn’t last, and I wasn’t last, but pretty close to it. I came second last, when I finished my mum gave me my Gatorade. The flavour was tropical.

On Saturday morning I had to get up early because me, my brother and my dad had to go to pick up someone that we play footy with. me and my brother play for Russells creek under 12s. we were versing Nirranda, and we lost again for our 3rd loss in a row. On Sunday I was excited because me , my brother and my Dad were going to the cinema. we were going to see Iron Man 3 at 12:10. It was a really good movie and I was waiting ever since it came out to go and see it. I thought we his house gets blown up it would be later in the movie but it’s not.

On the holidays I was lucky enough to finish school before everyone else because I was going to the Gold Coast. Me and my family left on Tuesday because it cost us $500 less than it would going on the Wednesday. It was a long drive to Melbourne. We dropped of our car at Andrew’s airport parking. Then a van took us to the airport. When we got to the airport we unloaded our bags out of the van, we went in side the airport and got booked in for our flight. After that we went to the gate we where supposed to be at. Then we got something to eat, I had a beef and red wine pie and a soft drink. the flight was long but we got there. When we got to the airport on the Gold Coast we went to thrifty and they told us what kind of car we hired. When we got to the car we drove out of the airport and went to the motel. At reception they told us that for the first night we were in a two bedroom apartment the first night and the beds were SHOCKING! The mattress’s were that hard it took me a week to get used to the beds. On the Wednsday it was my Dads birthday and we went to Dreamworld. Dreamworld was fun but very humid

On  Friday the 15th, 56b went fishing at the Angling club. Only one person caught a fish and that one person didn’t just catch one fish but five. They were only little bream too small to keep. At the Angling they showed us the proper way to hold a fish, how to measuer a fish and how to get a hook out of the fish.

This week was crazy but fun. On Monday we did p.e and we finally practiced doing relays. on Tuesday instead of doing Art we had school photos and went to the Rock Pools! It was really fun and I had a great time. At the Rock Pools we saw a Cuddle fish which was awesome! So on Wednesday we had Art instead of science because our Rock Pool excursion. Art was great. (We drew cartoon pictures of staff.)

This week for specialist we started of with P.E. In P.E we were practicing for athletics again. We were practicing high jump, long jump and triple jump. Then on Tuesday we did Art. In Art we finished of our Sun Set paintings. Finaly on Wednesday we had Science and we were trying on aqua shoes for our trip to the Rock pools. We also started our brochures for the Merri Marine sanctuary.
